Young Woman Killed and Young Man Seriously Injured in Road Accident in Wadi Araba

SadaNews - A young woman in her twenties was killed, and a young man was seriously injured as a result of a road accident that occurred on Route 90 in Wadi Araba, southern Israel, late Saturday to Sunday.

It was reported that the accident involved a truck and a private vehicle, resulting in the death of the driver of the latter and injury to the truck driver.

A medical team from "Magen David Adom" confirmed the young woman's death at the scene and provided first aid to the truck driver, who suffered serious injuries and was trapped inside.

According to the medical team, "the young woman was unconscious, without pulse or breath, and suffered serious bodily injuries. We conducted medical examinations, but her injuries were critical, and we had no choice but to declare her deceased. Additionally, we provided first aid to a young man who was seriously injured but conscious, and he was transferred to the hospital after being freed from the truck".

The Israeli occupation police claimed that they have begun investigating the circumstances of the accident.
