The Organization of Islamic Cooperation Condemns the Crimes and Terrorism of Colonizers by Burning Palestinian Mosques

SadaNews - "The General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation strongly condemned the ongoing series of crimes and escalating terrorism perpetrated by extremist colonizer gangs in the occupied Palestinian territories," in a statement published today, Sunday.

It added in the statement, as follows: "We condemn what happened during the last night, with the burning of two mosques in the town of Qusra south of Nablus, and in the village of Kafr Kaddum south of Tulkarm, and the writing of racist and inciting slogans on their walls. This crime comes as part of a broad settlement and aggressive campaign being carried out against Palestinian civilians with the participation and protection of Israeli occupation forces, including all occupied Palestinian territories in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including the blessed Jerusalem."

The General Secretariat warned that targeting mosques and violating sacred places constitutes a serious violation of the sanctity of places of worship, freedom of religion and belief, and humanitarian values and principles that guarantee the protection and preservation of sacred sites, warning of the dangers of igniting religious conflict and the rising rhetoric of hatred and racism against the defenseless Palestinian people.

The General Secretariat called on the international community and all relevant international organizations to condemn these heinous crimes, and the necessity of rapid action to take all deterrent measures to stop the criminal series being perpetrated against the Palestinian people, including accountability and legal and legislative pursuit of colonial entities and all institutions associated with the Israeli occupation and its illegal system.
