Elderly Woman Seriously Injured in Violent Crime in Sulam

SadaNews - An elderly woman (74 years old) was seriously injured this morning, Tuesday, after being subjected to a violent crime in the town of Sulam in the Marj Ibn Amer area.

Ambulance crews reported that they received a notification about a woman injured inside the town, and they rushed to the scene to provide her with initial treatment before transferring her to "HaEmek" Hospital in Afula, where she is in serious condition due to a stabbing injury she sustained.

The medic in the ambulance crew, Meir Moshe, stated that "the crew arrived at the scene accompanied by police forces, and found the injured woman fully conscious, but she was suffering from a stabbing injury to her body," adding that "the crew began providing her with first aid before transferring her by intensive care vehicle to the hospital for further treatment."

Following the incident, the police initiated an investigation into the circumstances of the crime, but have not yet announced any arrests or details related to the background of the incident or the identities of those involved.
