U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations: Trump Gives Iran Talks a "Limited Opportunity"

Iranian Skepticism

In this context, a senior Iranian source told Reuters today, Sunday, that Tehran will halt its attacks if the United States continues to suspend its strikes, but Tehran remains skeptical of Washington's intentions.

The source added to Reuters, after a day of Washington suspending its attacks following 13 consecutive nights of strikes, "Iran's position remains reciprocal: if the attacks stop, Iran will also halt its operations. We have conveyed this message to the United States".

He also stated, "There are more doubts than optimism regarding the cessation of attacks. The prevailing opinion is that this halt is tactical rather than genuine".
