A Young Man Killed by Israeli Police Gunfire Inside 1948 Territories

SadaNews - The young man Rami Shalabi was killed by Israeli police gunfire in the town of Sulam in the Marj Ibn Amer area inside the 1948 territories last night. Another individual was transported from the scene in moderate condition, raising the death toll from Israeli police gunfire since the beginning of this year to 8.

The killing of the young man from Sulam comes amid escalating policies by Israeli police and the use of excessive force, along with the ease of pulling the trigger, in the face of repeated calls for transparent and independent investigations into the murders.

The Arab community in Israel has been witnessing a rise in incidents of violence and murder since the beginning of the year, including stabbing and shooting crimes in several towns, resulting in over 145 deaths.
