Following the President's directives.. The Foreign Ministry sends urgent notes to governments worldwide calling for immediate international action to stop the terrorism of the colonizers

SadaNews - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, following directives from President Mahmoud Abbas, has sent urgent notes to governments worldwide through the embassies and missions of countries accredited to the State of Palestine. The notes call for immediate international action to stop the crimes of Israeli colonizer terrorism and the crimes of the occupation forces, and to ensure international protection for the Palestinian people in the occupied Palestinian territories, including East Jerusalem.

The ministry confirmed, in its note, that it continues, in parallel with the state of mobilization it declared in all embassies and missions of the State of Palestine, its activities with governments, parliaments, and international organizations, in light of the serious escalation in the crimes of the colonizers and the occupation forces, primarily the daily massacres, the burning of mosques and the homes of citizens and their properties, and the closure of roads between cities and villages in the occupied West Bank.

It stressed that these crimes are not isolated incidents, but rather fall within the framework of an official and systematic Israeli policy that provides protection and political and military support to the gangs of colonizers, emphasizing that the continued impunity gives the occupation forces and the colonizers a green light to continue and escalate their crimes.

It noted that these policies serve the survival of the extreme right-wing occupying government, which is hostile to peace, continues to expand colonization, imposes facts by force, displaces Palestinian citizens, and implements annexation, ethnic cleansing, and acts of genocide.

The ministry called for governments to take practical and urgent measures, including issuing clear condemnation positions, supporting independent international investigations, holding accountable those responsible for these crimes, working to disarm the colonizers according to Security Council Resolution No. (904), and imposing sanctions on the Israeli colonial system and its responsible parties and instigators.

It also called for a ban on the import of settlement products and stopping any economic or financial dealings with them, activating universal jurisdiction to prosecute war criminals and those guilty of crimes against humanity, and supporting the establishment of an international protection mechanism for the Palestinian people, along with implementing the advisory opinion issued by the International Court of Justice in 2024 regarding the illegality of the Israeli occupation and colonization.

The ministry emphasized that the Palestinian people can no longer withstand the continued policy of impunity, calling on the international community to translate its legal and moral commitments into practical and tangible steps to end the occupation, ensure the protection of Palestinian civilians, and compel Israel, the occupying power, to respect international law and the decisions of international legitimacy.
