Colonists Destroy Water Network in the Town of Al-Maniya Southeast of Bethlehem
SadaNews - Colonists destroyed a water network today, Sunday, in the town of Al-Maniya southeast of Bethlehem.
The head of Al-Maniya village council, Ahmad Kawazbeh, reported that a group of colonists invaded the "Qarn" area west of the village and destroyed the water network. They also attacked citizens who attempted to repair it by throwing sound bombs at them, with no injuries reported.
Kawazbeh added that assaults by colonists on the village have escalated recently, manifesting in attacks on citizens' homes, assaulting them, attempts to run them over, and grazing sheep on their lands.
In the first half of this year, colonists carried out 3488 assaults, which included attacks on Palestinian villages, assaults on citizens within them, setting homes ablaze with their owners inside, shooting at citizens, establishing colonial outposts, taking control of citizens' lands, and vandalizing roads and citizens' vehicles.
