Occupation Tightens Military Measures in Nablus Governorate and Hinders Medical Teams' Work

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces continue to obstruct the work of medical teams by tightening measures at military checkpoints surrounding Nablus Governorate.

The director of the Ambulance and Emergency Center at the Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Nablus, Amjad Ahmad, stated that the occupation forces continue to hinder the work of ambulance crews by tightening procedures at the military checkpoints, which impedes the movement of ambulances and delays their arrival to patients and the injured.

He added that there have been cases reported of the occupation forces preventing or delaying the transfer of medical cases coming from outside the governorate to hospitals within it, in addition to prohibiting some kidney dialysis patients from entering Nablus Governorate to receive treatment.

He pointed out that efforts are being made and coordinated with the Red Cross to try to facilitate the entry of cases to the hospitals.
