The Death of Engineer Muhammad Auni Abu Ramadan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ooredoo in Palestine
SadaNews - It was announced this evening the death of Engineer Muhammad Auni Abu Ramadan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ooredoo in Palestine.
It is worth mentioning that Abu Ramadan joined the Board of Directors of Ooredoo in December 2014, and he held the position of Minister of Planning and Administrative Development in two consecutive Palestinian governments between 2012 and 2014. In addition, Abu Ramadan has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Investment Fund since 2006 to the present. Throughout his professional life, he has held many public positions, including: membership in the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Monetary Authority, and Vice Chairman of the Board of the Palestinian Trade Center (PalTrade), in addition to being a member of the boards of directors of many other leading economic and community institutions.
Abu Ramadan is also regarded as one of the prominent Palestinian businessmen, having served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Water Authority and Chairman of the Gaza Buses Company, and he holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Syracuse University.
