10 killed in violence since the beginning of the week
Arab towns have witnessed a new wave of crimes since the beginning of this week, resulting in the deaths of 10 people in a series of shootings and vehicle bombings carried out in several towns and cities.
In the city of Qalqilya, two people were killed in a shooting incident, while a young man was killed and his child was injured due to a vehicle explosion in the city of Jaffa.
In another incident, a young man from Jaffa was killed after a car bomb exploded in the city of Holon, while gunfire in the city of Tayibe in the southern Triangle region resulted in the death of a young man and the serious injury of another.
Additionally, two young men were killed in separate shooting incidents during the morning hours of Wednesday in the city of Shafa-'Amr and the town of Basma Tab'un in the Galilee.
141 killed since the beginning of the year
The death toll from murder crimes in the Arab community has risen to 141 since the beginning of this year, amid a continued rise in organized crime, against the backdrop of the Israeli government's and police's failure to take effective measures to curb the phenomenon.
Data indicates that the majority of the victims have fallen due to gunfire crimes, while criticisms of police performance continue due to its failure to curb the crimes of criminal organizations and its inability to identify many offenders and bring them to justice, which deepens the feeling of insecurity and leads to an increase in the number of victims year after year.
