Israeli Poll: A Triumvirate Joint List Comprised of the Joint List, the Front, and the Arab Movement for Change Gets 10 Seats

SadaNews - A new public opinion poll in Israel, released on Wednesday evening, revealed that the participation of the Democratic National Assembly, the Front, and the Arab Movement for Change in the elections under a joint triumvirate list could secure them 10 seats in the Knesset.

According to the poll published by Channel 13 in Israel about 3 months before the expected elections, the Likud party continues to decline but remains the largest party, securing 21 out of 120 seats in the Knesset.

In contrast, the "Yeshar" list led by Gadi Eizenkot is projected to receive 20 seats, while the "Ahi" party led by Naftali Bennett and Yair Lapid is expected to obtain 17 seats, without managing to lead the opposition camp against Netanyahu.

According to the survey, the "Democrats" list led by Yair Golan is anticipated to win 11 seats, "Yisrael Beiteinu" is expected to secure 10 seats, and Shas is projected to get 9 seats, while both "Yahdut HaTorah" and "Otzma Yehudit" are expected to receive 8 seats each.

The joint list of the Front and the Arab Movement for Change is expected to obtain 6 seats, while both "Religious Zionism" and the united list are projected to receive 5 seats each. Meanwhile, "Kahol Lavan" led by Benny Gantz and the list of Yoaz Hendel representing reserve forces do not exceed the electoral threshold.

According to this scenario of block distribution, the current coalition would receive 51 seats, compared to 58 seats for the opposition, and 11 seats for the Arab parties.

Alliance Scenario: Triumvirate Joint List with 10 Seats

In another scenario involving electoral alliances, where the Front and the Arab Movement for Change and the Gathering participate in the elections as a joint list gaining 10 seats, with a joint leadership of a list including Benny Gantz, reserve officer David Samhi, and Yoaz Hendel garnering 5 seats, as well as the formation of a new party including Gilad Erdan, Ayelet Shaked, and Yuli Edelstein obtaining 4 seats, the map of seats and blocs changes.

In this scenario, the Likud drops to 18 seats, Eizenkot's list decreases to 19 seats, while Bennett's party drops to 14 seats, and the united list falls to 4 seats.

The block image shifts in this scenario, with the current coalition obtaining 47 seats, compared to 50 for the opposition, 14 for the Arab parties, and 9 for the new parties.

26% of the public are undecided

The poll indicates that undecided voters comprise 26% of the public, with 12% stating they are unsure of their choice, and 8% intending to vote for parties that do not surpass the electoral threshold.

The poll also revealed that 51% of respondents oppose forming a "broad national government," which is the format that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced he is seeking to establish, compared to 29% who support this move.

In response to a question regarding the suitability for leading a broad unity government, 44% stated they prefer Gadi Eizenkot, while 40% said they prefer Netanyahu.

One Thousand Days into the War: The Majority See No Resolution

On the eve of the 1000th day after the October 7 attack and the war on Gaza, the poll revealed a state of pessimism in Israeli public opinion, with only 25% stating that Israel is winning the war.

In contrast, 15% stated that Hamas is winning, while 49% believe that there is no resolution at this stage.
