"Jerusalem Electricity" Discusses Enhancing Cooperation with the Municipalities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh

SadaNews - The Jerusalem District Electricity Company continued its meetings with local authorities in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate as part of strengthening partnership and mutual coordination to contribute to the development of infrastructure and improve the level of services provided to citizens.

In this context, a delegation from the company headed by the Chairman, Engineer Hisham Al-Omari, along with General Director Engineer Muhammad Zidan, the company's manager in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate Dr. Thair Jaradat, Director of the Financial Affairs Department Mr. Firas Qawasmi, and Director of External Relations and Protocol Mr. Firas Jibran, visited the Al-Bireh Municipality, where they were welcomed by the municipality's mayor, Engineer Munif Tareesh, in the presence of municipal council member Wafaa Hamayel, the General Director of the municipality Engineer Dima Joudah, and the Director of the Engineering Division at the municipality Engineer Youssef Al-Baba.

The two sides discussed a number of joint issues and files, and ways to enhance cooperation and coordination in implementing future projects, which would positively reflect on the development of services to meet the needs of the city and its residents, emphasizing the importance of continuing to work in a spirit of partnership and integration to serve the public interest.

The company’s delegation also visited the Ramallah Municipality, where they were received by the mayor Jack Saadeh, along with the General Director of the municipality Ahmad Abu Luban.

During the meeting, they reviewed prospects for cooperation and coordination between the municipality and the company and discussed several common issues aimed at improving the level of services provided to citizens. Both sides affirmed the importance of strengthening the existing partnership and continuing mutual coordination to keep pace with the city's needs and improve the quality of services.

Commenting on the two meetings, the General Director of the Jerusalem District Electricity Company Engineer Muhammad Zidan emphasized the company's keenness to develop its services and enhance cooperation with local authorities, ensuring the provision of electricity service with high efficiency and quality, appreciating the strategic relationship that unites the company with the municipalities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh.
