A Gunfire Incident Claims the Life of a Young Man from Basmat Tab'un in Yagur
A 21-year-old man from Basmat Tab'un was killed this morning after being shot while inside a car in a parking lot at a shopping complex in the Yagur area.
The occupying police claimed they have launched an investigation into the circumstances.
Death of Young Man Ali Kamal Sawad from Sha'ab
Ali Kamal Sawad, a bus driver, was killed early this morning when he was shot in the city of Sha'ab, marking another crime added to the series of violent acts occurring in Arab towns.
A spokesperson for "Magen David Adom" reported that at 5:47 AM, the emergency center in the Carmel area received a report about a man injured in the city of Sha'ab.
He added that ambulance crews arrived at the scene and found a 24-year-old young man unconscious suffering from severe penetrating injuries. After providing necessary medical assistance, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The medical team that arrived at the crime scene said: "We found the injured young man unconscious with severe penetrating injuries all over his body. We conducted medical examinations, but his injuries were extremely critical, leaving us no option but to declare his death at the scene."
8 Dead in a Wave of Violence Since the Start of the Week
Arab towns have witnessed a new wave of violent crimes since the beginning of this week, resulting in the deaths of 8 individuals in a series of gunfire incidents and vehicle explosions that occurred in several areas.
In the city of Qalanswa, two people were killed in a gunfire incident, while a young man was killed and his child injured in a vehicle explosion in the city of Jaffa.
In another crime, a young man from Jaffa was killed after a bomb exploded in a vehicle in the city of Holon, while gunfire in the city of Taybeh in the southern Triangle resulted in the death of a young man and serious injuries to another.
139 Dead Since the Beginning of the Year
The death toll from murders in the Arab community has risen to 139 since the beginning of this year, amid continuing escalation of violence and organized crime, with accusations directed at the Israeli government and police for failing to take effective measures to curb this phenomenon.
Data indicates that the majority of victims have fallen due to shootings, while criticism of police performance continues because of their failure to limit the activities of crime organizations and to bring many perpetrators to justice, which deepens the feeling of insecurity and leads to an increase in the number of victims year after year.
