Raid Operations and Arrests Amid Rising Attacks by Settlers in the West Bank

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched a wide campaign of arrests and raids in several cities and towns in the West Bank during the dawn and morning of Thursday, targeting dozens of Palestinians, including two minors and the father of a martyr, amidst confrontations, injuries, and cases of suffocation from tear gas.

The Palestinian Prisoner Society reported that the occupation forces arrested four young men from the town of Mithlon south of Jenin: Islam Nizar Nairat, Amr Osama Rabaiat, Ibrahim Naael Nairat, and Mohammad Taisir Asaf. They also arrested the young man Qutaiba Aysar Aissa after raiding his home in the town of Sanour south of Jenin.

In the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, the occupation forces stormed several towns and villages, including Al-Mughayyir, Turmusaya, and Abu Falakh, and closed the entrance to the town of Al-Mughayyir. Confrontations erupted in the village of Al-Mazra'a Al-Sharqiyeh coinciding with the incursion into the Um Al-Sharayet neighborhood in the city of Al-Bireh. Settlers also attacked the village of Burqa, smashing Palestinian vehicles.

In the same context, Israeli forces arrested the father of martyr Qays Shuja'iyah after raiding his home in the village of Deir Jreer east of Ramallah, and they arrested the young man Samih Abdul Latif Abu Aliya during the incursion into the town of Al-Mughayyir northeast of the city.

In Nablus, occupation forces carried out raids from several axes, including neighborhoods and towns such as the Northern Mountain and Kafr Qalil, where they arrested the young man Ghaleb Khreyosh, while the area witnessed attacks from settlers on the villages of Awarta, Sebastia, and Burin.

The occupation forces also stormed several neighborhoods in the city of Tulkarem and raided homes in the Shweika neighborhood, while the Hebron governorate witnessed incursions into the towns of Beit Ummar and Dhahiriya and raids on homes there.

In Salfit, Israeli forces demolished agricultural barracks west of the town of Kafr Dik and stormed the town of Kafr Aqab north of occupied Jerusalem.

Cities and towns in the West Bank witness daily campaigns of incursions, arrests, and raids, accompanied by clashes and attacks by the occupation forces and settlers against Palestinians and their properties.
