Katz: The Israeli Army Will Remain in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza
SadaNews - Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed on Wednesday that his forces will remain in the "security areas" in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza without specifying a timeline for withdrawal.
Katz stated during a memorial ceremony for the soldiers who were killed in the war with Lebanon in 2006, "The Israeli army will remain in the security areas in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza for an indefinite period to protect our residents and towns from jihadist elements."
He added, "We will not withdraw from the security areas."
Katz also warned Tehran again that it will face "the full force" of attacks if it targets the Israeli forces fighting in Lebanon.
