8 Dead Since the Beginning of the Week.. Two New Crimes in Basma Tabor and Shfar'am

SadaNews - Two Arab youth were killed in separate shooting incidents during the early hours of Wednesday. One young man lost his life in the city of Shfar'am, while another was killed inside his vehicle in a parking lot of a shopping complex.

This brings the total number of murder victims in the Arab community to 8 since the beginning of the week, amid an ongoing wave of violence plaguing Arab towns.

A 21-year-old young man from the town of Basma Tabor was shot dead on Wednesday morning while sitting inside his car in a parking lot of a shopping complex in the Yagur area.

The Israeli police stated in a statement that they have initiated an investigation into the circumstances of the incident upon receiving a report of the shooting, while the medical team announced the young man's death at the scene due to his injuries. The police added that they continue to investigate the circumstances of the crime without announcing any arrests so far.

Additionally, a young man in his twenties was killed early Wednesday in a shooting in the city of Shfar'am, marking another crime added to the series of violent crimes affecting Arab towns.

With these crimes, the death toll from murders in the Arab community since the beginning of this year has risen to 139 killed, amid a continuing surge in violence and organized crime, with accusations directed at the Israeli government and police for failing to take effective measures to curb this phenomenon.
