Raids and Incursions in the West Bank.. Arrests Targeting Dozens
SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces launched a wide campaign of raids and incursions in various areas of the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem during the morning and dawn hours of Sunday. This included confrontations in some locations and arrests affecting dozens of Palestinians, along with house raids, searches, and the disruption of their contents, as well as the detention and questioning of residents on-site for hours.
The Palestinian Prisoner Club reported that the occupation forces carried out large arrest and raid campaigns in several areas of the West Bank, particularly concentrated in Qalqilya Governorate, where a number of homes were raided and searched thoroughly, with mistreatment of their owners during the incursions.
In Qalqilya, the occupation forces arrested a young man named Mohammad Al-Nays from the city, along with Alaa Zaki Majd, Majdi Zaki Majd, Baraa Adel Majd, and Adham Farouk Shbeita from the town of Izoun east of the city.
The occupation forces also raided the town of Imatin east of Qalqilya, arresting several young men, including Osayd Barri, Zaid Barri, Amjad Suwan, Tarek Ghanem, Abdullah Barri, and Ahmad Shtewi, after raiding their homes, searching them, and seizing money from some of them.
In Nablus Governorate, the occupation forces arrested brothers Walid and Naim Qouqa after raiding their home on Sufyan Street in the city center. They also raided the towns of Beit Furik and Roujeib east of Nablus and conducted extensive searches.
In occupied Jerusalem, the occupation forces arrested a young man during a raid on a residential building in the Al-Salam neighborhood of the Shufat refugee camp north of the city, as well as raiding the Qalandiya camp and the town of Kfar Aqab.
In a related context, the occupation forces raided the town of Sinjil north of Ramallah, the Aain Sultan camp north of Jericho, and the town of Beit Ummer north of Hebron, where military patrols were deployed in their streets amid a state of tension in those areas.
Last night, the occupation forces raided several areas in the West Bank and Jerusalem as part of synchronized military movements that included several towns and camps.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces raided the Qalandiya camp and the town of Kfar Aqab north of Jerusalem, executing extensive deployments, including raids and searches in several residential neighborhoods.
In Qalqilya Governorate, the occupation forces raided one of the homes in the town of Izoun east of the city.
The Nablus Governorate also witnessed similar incursions, where the occupation forces penetrated the towns of Beit Furik and Roujeib east of the city, amid military movements in the neighborhoods and displays of force in the streets.
Incursions by the occupation forces continue in various areas of the West Bank, involving repeated raids on homes and extensive search operations in several towns and camps.
