Sources to "SadaNews": The New Revolutionary Council of Fatah Will Hold Its First Meeting Next Thursday

Special for SadaNews - The new Revolutionary Council of Fatah is scheduled to hold its first session next Thursday (11-6-2026) in the Saeb Erekat Hall at the presidential headquarters at 6:00 PM, according to exclusive sources for "SadaNews." The same sources indicated that President Mahmoud Abbas will deliver a speech at the opening of the session, during which the Secretary of the Revolutionary Council will be elected, as well as two deputies for the secretary. Additionally, the election of the head of the movement's court, the head of the financial oversight committee and its members, as well as the head of the membership protection and oversight committee, and a minimum of four of its members will take place. According to SadaNews sources, there are 4 members of the Revolutionary Council competing for the position of Secretary: Muayyad Shaaban, Akram al-Rajoub, Jamal al-Shobaki, and Taysir Nasrallah.
