Presidency: The Continuation of Occupation and Settler Terrorism Will Keep the Region in Turmoil
SadaNews - Palestinian presidency spokesperson Nabil Abu Rudaina said, "The ongoing escalatory policies of occupation and the support for settler terrorism will keep the entire region on the brink of a volcano and in turmoil," warning of the repercussions of these dangerous policies on security and stability in the region.
Abu Rudaina emphasized that the Palestinian issue cannot be marginalized or overlooked, stressing that failure to arrive at a just solution would mean the continuation of wars and crises.
He pointed out that the continued recognition by countries worldwide of Palestinian rights and their commitment to international legitimacy, in addition to the ongoing changes in the world, represent an opportunity that the international community, as well as the U.S. administration, must seize to resolve all the region's issues and achieve security and stability for all.
Abu Rudaina added that the Palestinian cause is a just and sacred issue for the world, deeply rooted in history, and that ignoring the rights of our Palestinian people and attempts to impose policies of fait accompli will not secure safety for anyone, nor will it grant any legitimacy to occupation and its colonization.
The spokesperson stressed that resolving the Palestinian issue according to Arab and international legitimacy resolutions is fundamental to achieving balance and stability at both the regional and international levels and halting an ongoing wave of wars.
