Palestinian Islamic Bank Participates in the Third Global Summit on Islamic Economy in Istanbul

SadaNews - The Palestinian Islamic Bank participated in the activities of the Third Global Summit on Islamic Economy in Istanbul, organized by the Al-Baraka Forum for Islamic Economics under the title "Capital in the Islamic Economy: Structuring Wealth for Sustainable Development", in the presence of His Excellency Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Vice President, a number of ministers, officials, and experts specialized in the field of Islamic economics and finance, in addition to a group of economic and financial leaders and decision-makers from various countries around the world.

Representing the Palestinian Islamic Bank at the summit was General Manager Dr. Imad Al-Saadi, as part of a Palestinian delegation that included a number of financial and economic leaders headed by HE the Governor of the Palestinian Monetary Authority Mr. Yahya Shanir. The activities were also attended by HE the Palestinian Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey Mr. Nasri Abu Ghaish.

The summit, which is considered one of the most prominent global events specialized in Islamic economics and finance, discussed a range of issues, challenges, and opportunities related to developing the Islamic economy system and enhancing its role in achieving sustainable development, supporting the real economy, and promoting innovation and cooperation, along with reviewing the latest developments and trends in the fields of Islamic banking and finance.
Dr. Imad Al-Saadi stated that the bank's participation in this summit represents an important opportunity to learn about the best global practices and experiences in the field of Islamic finance and to explore avenues for cooperation with the participating financial institutions, contributing to the development of banking services and products and enhancing the bank's role in supporting economic and community development in Palestine.
