Completion of Arrival of All Pilgrims from the State of Palestine

SadaNews - The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, Head of the Hajj and Umrah Committee, Issam Abdel Halim, announced today, Friday, the conclusion of the Hajj season for the year 1447 AH and the completion of the arrival of all pilgrims from the Sacred House of God from the generous sons of the State of Palestine to their homeland. This comes after receiving the last and final batch of pilgrims in the Mahmoud Abbas City for Pilgrims and Worshippers in Jericho.

Abdel Halim confirmed the safe return of all pilgrims to their homes after performing the blessed ritual.

He explained that the last batch was received amidst a comprehensive system of organizational and logistical procedures that had been prepared in advance, praising the continuous and diligent efforts made by the teams of the Public Authority for Crossings and Borders, which worked day and night to ensure smooth movement, facilitate entry procedures, and provide all means of comfort for the pilgrims to ease their travel burden.

He affirmed that the safety and comfort of our pilgrims have been our top priorities since their departure until their safe return. We extend our highest expressions of thanks and appreciation to all teams, whether from the Ministry of Awqaf or the Public Authority for Crossings and Borders, who participated in this blessed national effort, embodying the spirit of giving and responsibility in serving the guests of the Merciful.

It is worth mentioning that the Mahmoud Abbas City for Pilgrims and Worshippers witnessed a complete mobilization of all its teams over the past days, as reception operations were carried out in joint coordination among the relevant parties, which contributed to completing the pilgrims' procedures with flexibility and record speed and without any significant obstacles.
