Fatah Movement in Italy Appreciates Albanese's Stances Against Genocide

SadaNews - Dr. Imad Ali, the Secretary of the Palestinian National Liberation Movement "Fatah" in Italy, expressed the gratitude and appreciation of the Palestinian people, President Mahmoud Abbas, and the leadership of the movement, represented by the Central Committee and the Revolutionary Council, to the UN Special Rapporteur in the occupied Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, praising her humanitarian and courageous stances supporting the Palestinian people. Dr. Ali described Albanese as a symbol of justice and humanity, deserving all appreciation and respect for her sincere stance against Israeli violations.

Dr. Ali pointed out that the entire Palestinian people and the free people of the world nominate Albanese for the Nobel Peace Prize, considering that her positions defending human rights and international law deserve this global honor. He added: "It is inconceivable for war criminal Netanyahu to nominate the war instigator in Palestine, the American President Trump, for this noble prize. His nomination alone is an insult to the concept of peace and justice, emphasizing that supporting Albanese and her humanitarian stances is a moral and humanitarian duty for everyone.

Dr. Ali conveyed the greetings of the Palestinian leadership to Albanese, emphasizing Palestine's pride—leadership, government, and people—in her positions against the genocide waged by Israel against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank, stressing that her courageous stances reflect a genuine commitment to justice and international law, and that Palestine stands with her in the face of all the campaigns of incitement, threats, and sanctions being imposed on her by Israel and its ally, the United States.

For her part, Albanese confirmed that her stances are based on the principles of international and humanitarian law and the decisions of international legitimacy, describing what the Palestinians face in terms of killing, displacement, starvation, and siege as systematic violations and complete war crimes and genocide. She stated: "Defending the Palestinians is a humanitarian and legal obligation, not a political choice, and the Palestinian issue is a test of the credibility of the international and humanitarian system."

During her participation in the Sixth Palestine Festival in Rome, Albanese stressed the necessity for the European Union and the international community to act to stop the massacres, protect innocent civilians, and impose sanctions on the Israeli leaders involved in war crimes. She also emphasized the importance of the unity of the Italian people from all walks of life to pressure the central Italian government to recognize the state of Palestine, stating: "Justice is indivisible, and the rights of the Palestinians are non-negotiable and non-exchangeable."
