Global Warning to Americans Due to Rising Tensions in the Middle East

SadaNews - The U.S. Department of State issued a "global warning" to Americans on Tuesday due to the "escalating tensions in the Middle East."

The U.S. Department of State stated in the warning: "In light of the escalating tensions in the Middle East, the security situation remains complicated with the potential for an unexpected escalation."

It added: "Americans currently in the Middle East should exercise caution and be prepared for possible flight cancellations."

U.S. Central Command "CENTCOM" announced on Monday new rounds of strikes on Iran for the tenth consecutive night.

CENTCOM reported that the strikes, which began at 4 PM (20:00 GMT), "aim to continue weakening Iranian military capabilities used in attacking commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz."

Iranian media reported loud explosions in Bandar Abbas, Qeshm, and Sirik.

Explosions were also heard in the cities of Chabahar and Konarak in southern Iran, and Isfahan in the central part of the country.

An explosion also occurred in Shiraz, southwestern Iran, and another at the southern port of Lingeh.

Iranian media also mentioned that air defenses were activated near the Bushehr nuclear power plant.

U.S. President Donald Trump stated on Monday that Iran "will pay a price" for killing American soldiers, following the deaths of several American military personnel during combat operations in recent days.

The number of American soldiers killed in the war with Iran has risen to 17 in recent days, with the remains of another soldier undergoing examination.

Trump wrote on the Truth Social platform: "Each time Iran kills an American soldier, they will pay many times over for it."

He added that "Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Daniel Kin were informed of this directive."

Trump threatened last week to expand the targets hit in Iran to include power stations, bridges, send ground troops to seize Kharg Island, Iran's main oil export hub, and bomb the underground nuclear site "Mount Axe."
