More than 38,000 travelers crossed through the Karama crossing last week
SadaNews - More than 38,000 citizens and visitors crossed through the Karama crossing during the past week, while the police arrested 41 individuals wanted by the judiciary.
The number of outbound travelers during the week was (19,715) individuals, while the number of incoming travelers was (19,259) individuals, indicating active movement of passengers.
During the same period, the police apprehended (41) individuals wanted by the courts and banned from traveling, either while attempting to leave through the crossing or upon their arrival in Palestinian territories, as they are wanted in cases filed before the courts and public prosecution.
The police and security and civilian agencies in the General Administration of Crossings and Borders provided many facilities and services to all citizens, including coordinating for (8) medical cases for travel between both sides of the crossing using Palestinian ambulances.
