Public Petroleum Authority: Fuel supply continues daily and we urge citizens not to rush to gas stations
SadaNews - The Ministry of Finance and the Public Petroleum Authority confirmed that the supply of fuel to the Palestinian market is continuing daily and without interruption, urging citizens not to rush to gas stations and to obtain information from official sources.
The authority explained, in a statement, that it is monitoring developments related to the fuel supply file in recent days, noting that additional challenges have emerged due to fears of renewed regional conflict, along with the cumulative effects of the crisis instigated by the Israeli side by obstructing the transfer of surplus shekels accumulated in Palestinian banks to Israeli banks.
It urged citizens to avoid rushing to gas stations, demanding that they refrain from filling fuel in jerrycans, which would help maintain the regular supply and meet market needs.
It added that the Ministry of Finance and the Public Petroleum Authority are working on implementing a set of simultaneous measures aimed at increasing the quantities of fuel supplied in the coming days, despite the challenges and difficulties, to ensure a complete response to market needs.
The authority also called on citizens to seek information from official sources and not to be swayed by rumors that could exacerbate confusion in the scene.
