Arrests in Occupation Attacks in the West Bank and Jerusalem

SadaNews - Israeli occupation forces arrested two citizens today, Sunday, one of whom is a child, from the town of Hosan west of Bethlehem, while continuing to close the village for the second consecutive day.

Hosan Village Council Director Rami Hamamra stated that the occupation forces raided several homes of citizens in the village, ransacking their contents, and arrested the young man Muhammad Muhannad Zaoul (24 years old) and the child Ibrahim Khaled Al-Sha'er (16 years old).

He added that the occupation forces continue to impose a tight siege on the village by closing the main entrance leading to it and to the western rural area, specifically in the "Shouli" area, which has led to a paralysis of various aspects of life there, including the closure of shops and the prohibition of citizens' movement within and outside the village, in addition to patrolling and setting up military checkpoints inside the village.

Hamamra noted that the occupation forces have escalated their attacks and arbitrary measures against the residents of Hosan recently, which included the closure of the main entrances to the village, particularly Sharfa, Al-Mutina, and Al-Masajid, as well as the road leading to the town of Nahalin to the west.

Another force also arrested a boy during its incursion into the Qalandia camp north of occupied Jerusalem.

The Jerusalem Governorate reported that the occupation forces stormed the camp, where military vehicles were stationed at the camp's entrance, while other vehicles penetrated into the camp's neighborhoods before arresting a boy whose identity is yet to be known.
