Ministry of Labor Calls for Registration in Licensed Private Vocational Training Centers and Warns Against Joining Unlicensed Centers

SadaNews - The Ministry of Labor has called on students, trainees, and parents to ensure that the private vocational training centers they intend to enroll in are licensed and accredited by the Ministry of Labor, before registering or paying any fees. The Ministry emphasized that it is the official authority responsible for licensing and supervising private vocational training centers and their training programs.

The Ministry clarified that registration in unlicensed centers may lead to the loss of trainees' rights, receiving unaccredited certificates, as well as undergoing training that does not meet the quality standards and oversight mandated by the Ministry. It affirmed that the Ministry bears no responsibility for programs or certificates issued by unlicensed centers.

The Ministry stressed the importance of verifying both the center's license and the training program together, as licensing of the center does not necessarily imply the accreditation of all programs it advertises. It urged those wishing to register to request to see the center's license and the training program's license before completing the registration procedures.

It also warned against falling for promotional ads or offers published by some unlicensed entities through social media or other advertising means, which claim to provide training programs or accredited certificates without obtaining the necessary official licenses.

The Ministry called on students and parents to review this list before registering and to ensure that the center they wish to join is included in it.

Additionally, the Ministry urged all private vocational training centers to comply with the provisions of the Labor Law and the regulations and instructions governing them, and not to advertise any training program or accept trainees before obtaining the required license and official approval. It emphasized that it will continue to conduct regulatory tours and take legal action against any entity that practices vocational training without a license or violates licensing conditions.

The Ministry of Labor stressed that choosing a licensed vocational training center is the main guarantee for receiving quality training, accredited certification, and better opportunities to join the labor market, urging citizens to report any center or entity practicing vocational training illegally through the vocational training centers and labor directorates in the governorates or through the Ministry's official communication channels.
