Jerusalem: Body of Wael Iskafi Found Days After Going Missing at Sea
SadaNews - After three days of intensive search operations at sea off the coast of Ashdod, rescue teams found the body of the Jerusalemite young man Wael Iskafi this morning, Monday, amid a state of sadness and mourning among his family and acquaintances.
The deceased left behind a grieving family, as he was married and had a son and a daughter.
A spokesperson for the Israeli "Magen David Adom" service reported that at 07:12, the 101 center in the area received a notification about a man being pulled from the water who was unconscious near the "Mi'ami" beach in the city of Ashdod. Paramedics and medical teams declared the death of a man approximately 30 years old.
A paramedic from the motorcycle unit stated, "We saw the man unconscious, with no pulse and no breathing. We conducted medical examinations and were compelled to declare him deceased."
The body was transferred to complete the necessary procedures, while a state of sadness prevailed in the Jerusalem community following the announcement of his death.
