Serious Injuries in Kfar Qassem and Another from the Interior in Qalqilya Due to Shooting Incidents

SadaNews - A young man (25 years old) sustained serious injuries due to a shooting incident in the city of Kfar Qassem, while another man from one of the towns in the Arab community was injured in another crime that occurred in the city of Qalqilya in the West Bank, with his condition described as serious; during the night from Saturday to Sunday.

In Kfar Qassem, medical teams reported that they provided initial treatments to the injured person, who was partially conscious and suffered from penetrating injuries to his body, and he was subsequently transferred to "Belinson" Hospital to continue treatment.

A paramedic and medic from the medical team stated, "There was a large crowd at the scene and we saw a young man who was partially conscious and suffered from penetrating injuries to his body. We provided him with life-saving treatments and then transferred him to the hospital in an unstable condition."

Israeli police have begun an investigation into the circumstances of the crime, the background of which remains unknown; without reporting the arrest of any suspects, amidst ongoing negligence in providing security and safety to Arab citizens in light of rampant crime.

In Qalqilya, recorded footage shows a man being shot while standing next to one of the shops, when a vehicle approached him and one of its occupants fired shots at him.

A number of residents from Qalqilya arrived at the scene and provided assistance to the injured person before the ambulance teams arrived, who transported him to the hospital for treatment.

The Palestinian police have started an investigation into the circumstances and background of the crime, while the identity of the injured person remains unknown.
