Israeli Police Claim to Have Thwarted Stabbing Attempt in Western Galilee
SadaNews Translation - The Israeli police claimed on Friday morning that they thwarted a stabbing attack at the entrance of one of their centers in Western Galilee.
According to a statement from the Israeli police, as translated by SadaNews, the incident occurred at 5:30 AM, when a Palestinian from the village of New Makr arrived in front of the center, exited his vehicle while carrying a knife, and rushed towards a police officer at the gate of the center, attempting to stab him.
The police stated that the officer quickly managed to subdue the attacker and neutralize him on the spot.
It was noted that the suspect is 23 years old, and after the investigation concludes, his detention will be extended.
