Saudi Startup Joins the "Cloud" Partner Network

SadaNews - A Saudi startup, Velents, specializing in developing artificial intelligence solutions for enterprise recruitment, has officially announced its membership as an accredited partner of the global "Cloud" partner network under Anthropic, listed among the top pillars of advanced AI in the world. Velents becomes the first tech company from Saudi Arabia and the Arab world to join this international ecosystem.

This step comes as part of the startup's efforts to enhance its capabilities in innovating and deploying enterprise artificial intelligence solutions to shape the future of work and recruitment, and to expand its regional operations covering the Saudi, Egyptian, Bahraini, Jordanian, and Omani markets by integrating advanced language models with compliance and digital sovereignty solutions.

This partnership represents a qualitative leap that enhances the Saudi and Arab presence in international technical decision-making, positioning the Velents startup, which possesses a wide array of operational solutions deep within major governmental and banking environments, at the heart of the global ecosystem for enterprises. This coincides with the accelerating efforts of major institutions to transition artificial systems from exploratory stages to comprehensive institutional adoption of secure, reliable, and specially designed systems to understand the requirements of the Arabic language and its sovereign environments within state borders.

This membership aims to integrate Cloud’s computing capabilities and inference models with the locally developed knowledge systems of Velents, contributing to meeting strict regulatory standards and data retention and privacy requirements within geographical state boundaries, which is essential for sensitive governmental entities and banking institutions in the Gulf and Middle East.

Currently, Velents' solutions operate within the operational environments of several sovereignty ministries and a major bank in Saudi Arabia, where generative models are employed to serve daily operations and manage documents with high precision and security.

Mohammed Jaber, co-founder and CEO of Velents, stated: "For the past three years, as a startup, we have focused on developing a reliable artificial intelligence infrastructure that governmental entities and major institutions in our region can trust, operate, and fully localize within their digital boundaries. We have distinguished ourselves by providing locally developed AI that drives actual operations within sensitive and sovereign national institutions."

As an accredited partner in the "Cloud" partner network, Velents enjoys a set of technical and competitive advantages that directly reflect on the quality and reliability of the services provided to its clients in both government and private sectors, which includes globally certified engineering practices ensuring the construction of a highly compatible and optimized software infrastructure for "Cloud" models, achieving faster responses and optimal resource utilization.

In this context, Abdulaziz Al-Muheidib, co-founder and Chief Operating Officer at Velents, commented that partnering with a global giant like "Anthropic" represents an opportunity to localize advanced technical knowledge and open direct communication channels for our engineers with leaders in the world of artificial intelligence, enabling us to build a new generation of national talents capable of leading and developing future technologies locally while ensuring the sustainability of technological innovation in the region by Arab hands.

Velents successfully closed a funding round worth $1.5 million in October of last year, with participation from individual investors holding leadership positions in global companies such as "Google" and "BCG".

It is noteworthy that Anthropic launched the global "Cloud" partner network in March 2026 with an initial strategic capital and investment of $100 million, aiming to empower partners through specialized training programs, in-depth technical support, high-level professional accreditations, and joint development of promising market opportunities.

The network officially launched on June 3, 2026, with the presence of a select group of 100 members from all over the world, with future aspirations to expand its scope to include a few thousand of the most innovative entities around the globe.
