Occupation authorities force family to demolish their home in Ba'aneh in the 1948 territories
SadaNews - The Israeli authorities forced the Amer Titi family last night to demolish their home in the village of Ba'aneh in the Galilee region, in the 1948 territories, to avoid paying a fine of about half a million shekels, in exchange for the authorities demolishing the house if it was not demolished by them.
According to family statements, "The house was built about 15 years ago, housing 15 individuals, and the demolition decision had been frozen for years, but the Israeli authorities began taking action in recent years and did not leave them a chance to negotiate before proceeding with the demolition."
Yesterday, Saturday, young Rami Muhammad Titi was forced to demolish his house himself, to avoid the hefty financial fines that could result if the Israeli authorities proceeded to demolish it.
