The End of the Dictator
The dictator, Said the First and Twenty-First, has ended in the asylum he built and named after himself, which is the inevitable end for people like him.
In my novel about this dictator, published in 2009 by the Fadaat Publishing House in Amman, I narrated how Said the First, whose name before his dictatorship was Mughiyth, named every school, square, landmark, and street in his capital after himself, such as Street Said the First Number One, and so on in numerical order. Later, the general public ignored his name and began calling the streets by their numbers, disregarding his name. However, the only building they continued to use his name for was the Said the First Mental Hospital.
Trump's obsession with his name reminds me of this Said, for he named the Gulf of Mexico, the Strait of Hormuz, Gaza, Greenland, the American passport, the dollar, a settlement in the Golan, a dance hall in the White House, a sandwich lounge behind his desk, and engaged in satanic prayers, comparing himself to the awaited Messiah, the man of peace, and the football shepherd, while he is a football shepherd without a Dal; and I think he will end like Said the First.
Said took a public bus disguised without guards to check on the people's situation in his capital and was surprised that any passenger requesting to get off did not mention the name of the street or square except by its number, not preceded by his name. The last stop was the square of the mental hospital, so he got off and read his name on the building's facade and joyfully exclaimed, "This is my name!" The building's guards heard him say, "I am Said the First," so they thought he was crazy. They arrested him and took him inside, carrying him while he shouted, "I am Said the First!" His phone fell from his pocket, and one of the guards stepped on it, beating him severely on the head until he lost his mind, and he remained imprisoned in his hospital until he died.
This is the fate of the mobile urinal that incites killing and destruction daily; it will find itself in the toilet of history one day.
