As part of its efforts to support local authorities, the Land Authority discusses with the Ajja Municipality the implementation of development projects on state lands

SadaNews - In the framework of its efforts aimed at supporting local authorities and enhancing the optimal use of state lands to serve citizens, the head of the Land Authority, Minister Alaa Al-Tamimi, received in the premises of the Land Authority in Ramallah, the head of Ajja Municipality – in the Jenin Governorate – Mr. Ahmad Taysir Shahada, in the presence of the Deputy Head of the Land Authority, Mr. Samer Oudi, the General Director of State Property, Mr. Sadek Abu Za’nouna, and the Deputy General Director of Survey, Engineer Hamza Al-Tayrawi. The meeting was also attended by the Public Relations Officer from Ajja Municipality, Mr. Sahr Qasim Suleiman, and the municipal engineer, Engineer Moamen Qasim Suleiman.

During the meeting, the needs of Ajja related to the land sector were reviewed, and the possibility of allocating a number of state lands for the establishment of development projects and public facilities serving the town's residents was discussed, which contributes to improving the quality of services, enhancing local development, and supporting the resilience of citizens.

Minister Al-Tamimi affirmed that the Land Authority is working to utilize state lands in a manner that achieves the public benefit, and supports local authorities in implementing development projects that meet the needs of citizens, indicating that the optimal use of these lands is a fundamental pillar for enhancing sustainable development and improving the quality of services in various governorates.

For his part, the head of Ajja Municipality reviewed the most significant needs of the town, appreciating the cooperation of the Land Authority and its keenness to support development projects that benefit citizens, and enhance the municipalities' ability to improve the services provided to the local community.

Both sides agreed to continue coordination and complete the technical and legal procedures to study the municipality's needs, and to discuss the possibility of allocating the necessary lands to implement priority projects, achieving the public interest and serving the residents of Ajja town.
