129 killed in the Arab community: A 19-year-old woman shot dead in Ramla
SadaNews - A 19-year-old woman was killed in a shooting incident that took place in the city of Ramla, late Wednesday to Thursday, bringing the death toll from murders in the Arab community since the beginning of this year to 129 killed.
A medical team declared the young woman's death after efforts to keep her alive failed following attempts to resuscitate her.
The occupying police claimed that they "opened an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the murder of a 19-year-old woman shot dead in the Al-Jawaris neighborhood of Ramla."
The death toll from murders in the Arab community has now reached 129 since the beginning of this year, amid a continuous rise in organized crime and violence in Arab towns, in the absence of effective governmental measures to curb this phenomenon.
Data indicates that the majority of the victims were shot, while criticism of the performance of the Israeli police continues to rise as they continue to fail in combatting crime organizations and identifying perpetrators, deepening feelings of personal insecurity and leading to increasing numbers of victims year after year.
