SadaNews - After hours passed since the horrific accident that injured Egyptian artist Mohamed Marzban, a medical official emerged to reveal details about his health condition to the public, confirming that his condition is "unstable".

Dr. Mohamed Gaber, head of the Health Care Authority in Ismailia, stated last night during a television interview that artist Mohamed Marzban was transported to Abu Khalifa Hospital in Ismailia following a terrible traffic accident, stressing that he is suffering from deteriorated consciousness, brain hemorrhage, and a fracture in the skull base.

Dr. Mohamed Gaber also confirmed that Marzban is experiencing blood accumulation in the lungs and fractures in several ribs, in addition to multiple fractures throughout his body and abdominal bleeding, adding that he has been placed on a ventilator.

His condition is unstable

Regarding the medical procedures he is undergoing, Gaber stated that two chest tubes have been installed for him, and he has received a blood transfusion, confirming that his current condition is unstable and calling for his audience and fans to pray for him.

Gaber indicated that artist Mohamed Marzban is being attended to by a group of the best specialists in several surgeries, including neurosurgery, cardiac and thoracic surgery, general surgery, and plastic surgery, in addition to intensive care consultants who monitor his condition moment by moment.

Dr. Mohamed Gaber emphasized that the evaluation of similar cases occurs after the first 48 hours of the patient, affirming that the first hours after the accident are the most dangerous until the body's stability is achieved. He added: "We hope for improvement in condition after 48 hours".

It is worth mentioning that Marzban was involved in a horrific traffic accident on the "Cairo-Ismailia" road east of Cairo on the evening of last Saturday, where he was struck by a speeding car that caused his motorcycle to crash and resulted in serious injuries before ambulances rushed to transfer him to the intensive care unit at Abu Khalifa Emergency Hospital in a critically ill and unstable condition.

"Imminent danger to his life"

Meanwhile, the injured actor's wife requested his transfer to the capital, Cairo, to continue his treatment, as she contacted Ashraf Zaki, head of the acting professions syndicate, who quickly coordinated to provide support.

However, the treating medical team recommended that he remains in Ismailia Hospital, confirming that any movement at this time poses an "imminent danger to his life" before stabilizing his vital signs.

It is noteworthy that Marzban began his artistic career in the early 1990s and was distinguished for playing businessman roles and aristocratic characters, leaving a mark in prominent cinematic and dramatic works, including the films "Kashf Al-Mastoor" and "Al-Balitosho", and the series "Ain Qalbi", "Dhad Al-Tayyar", and "Ism Mo'aqqat".

His latest work is the series "Ward Ala Fal We Yasmin", which is currently airing on MBC Shahid platform, starring Saba Mubarak, Ahmed Abdel Wahab, Salwa Muhammad Ali, and Mimi Jamal, written by Amr Samir Atef and directed by Mohamed Abdel Tawab.
