Incursions and Arrests in the West Bank and Conversion of Homes into Military Barracks
SadaNews - Israeli occupying forces launched a campaign of incursions and arrests in various areas of the occupied West Bank in the early hours of Monday, which included confrontations in some locations resulting in injuries and cases of suffocation.
The forces also carried out incursions into several homes and arrested a number of Palestinians, taking them for questioning by their intelligence agencies, as reported by the Palestinian Prisoners Club.
The campaign also included searching residential homes and tampering with their contents, holding residents for periods of time, while subjecting some to field interrogations during the incursions that lasted for hours.
In Bethlehem, the forces arrested five citizens after storming and searching their homes, including brothers Abdullah and Ahmed Ata al-Hreimi from the Wadi Shahin area, as well as Salah Khalid al-Hreimi from the Abu Naim area east of the city, in addition to Samy Talib Taqtaqa and Youssef Raed Taqtaqa from the town of Beit Fajjar.
In Nablus, four citizens were arrested following the incursion into the neighborhoods of the city, where the forces stormed the Fata'ir street and several homes, arresting Moamen Salameh and Samer Salameh, as well as raiding the Ain camp west of the city and arresting brothers Ameen and Mohammad Iyad Hamdi after storming their home.
In Ramallah, the occupation forces stormed homes in the village of Budrus west of the city, turning some buildings into temporary military points during the operation.
In Hebron, the city and the towns of Dura and Beit Awwa witnessed sporadic incursions, resulting in the arrest of teacher Younis Rajoub and young man Ibrahim Youssef Al-Sous during the raid in Dura, while young man Majd Ayman Obeid was arrested after the incursion into the Wadi Al-Zarir area and searching several homes before the forces withdrew.
