"Education" Concludes Best Project Plan Competition within "Getting to Know the Business World" Program

SadaNews - The Ministry of Education and Higher Education concluded the events of the Best Project Plan Competition within the "Getting to Know the Business World" (KAB) training program, with the participation of 14 student teams from various directorates, supported and funded by the German Agency for Development (GIZ) through the Demand-Driven Technical and Vocational Education and Training Project (DoTVET 2), in partnership with the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which hosted the event.

The competition featured an interactive dialogue session with several entrepreneurs, discussing the importance of vocational education and training, and the role of entrepreneurship in promoting a culture of self-employment and empowering youth to develop their ideas and future projects.

The event was attended by the Director General of Vocational Education, Jihad Driedi, the Director of the Demand-Driven Technical and Vocational Education and Training Program (DoTVET 2), Fatima Asfour, the representative of the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ayman Al-Mimi, along with several specialists.

The participating projects were evaluated by a specialized judging panel, and the event concluded with a ceremony to honor the winners and distribute awards to the top four contestants, hosted by the KAB program coordinator at the ministry, Diaa Fatafta.

The results were as follows: First place: Dora Girls' Vocational Secondary School from the Southern Hebron Directorate, while the second and third places were jointly awarded to Fadl Abidin Girls' Vocational Secondary School from the Hebron Directorate, and Al-Nayfa Boys' Vocational Secondary School from the Tulkarm Directorate secured fourth place.
