The Monetary Authority and the Ministry of National Economy Organize a Training Course to Enhance the Readiness of Staff Working on the E-Commerce Platform

SadaNews - The Monetary Authority and the Ministry of National Economy organized a training course aimed at enhancing the readiness of staff working on the e-commerce platform and developing their skills in dealing with the operational and regulatory procedures related to the platform. The course also aimed to inform participants on how stores can benefit from the electronic payment tools and systems provided by the Monetary Authority and the banking sector, with the participation of employees from the Ministry of National Economy responsible for managing and monitoring the platform and several store owners registered on it.

The training focused on enhancing the practical aspect of managing and following up on the registration requests for e-commerce stores, standardizing procedures and workflows, ensuring more efficient and effective service delivery, and contributing to the development of a supportive environment for e-commerce in Palestine.

Participants covered several specialized topics including the regulatory framework of the e-commerce ecosystem, the relationship between e-commerce and financial services, and the system's role in supporting financial inclusion. 

Practical exercises and simulations of real-life cases were also implemented to enhance participants' readiness to deal with various requests and operational challenges, alongside showcasing the uses of artificial intelligence technologies in developing workflows and improving services. The workshop also witnessed the participation of owners of e-commerce stores registered on the platform who shared their practical experiences and presented their observations and developmental suggestions aimed at boosting the platform's efficiency and improving the user experience.
