Jaffa: Young Arab Woman Seriously Injured in Shooting Crime
SadaNews - A 22-year-old Palestinian woman was seriously injured in a shooting crime that occurred in the city of Jaffa, just before midnight on Sunday.
The medical team reported that they arrived at the crime scene, "at exactly 11:23 PM, indicating that a young woman was shot in the street... in Jaffa."
It was noted that the paramedics "are providing first aid to the 22-year-old young woman," adding that she "was transported to 'Wolfson' Hospital, where she is in serious condition, conscious, but suffers from gunshot wounds."
One member of the medical team stated: "We saw the young woman conscious, but she had serious gunshot wounds to her body, and we provided her with life-saving first aid, which included stopping the bleeding, then she was transported to the hospital in serious condition."
The toll of murder victims in the Arab community since the beginning of this year has reached 123 dead.
This comes amid a rise in violence and organized crime in Arab towns, and a lack of serious government plans to address the rampant crime and violence in these communities, contributing to the growing sense of personal insecurity and the increasing number of victims year after year.
Data indicates that the majority of victims were killed by gunfire, amid ongoing criticism of Israeli police policies and their inability to curb crime and pursue criminal organizations.
