The England Stars' Shoes and Equipment Robbed in Major Heist in America

SadaNews - The shoes and equipment of England's football stars were unexpectedly robbed from a truck that was on its way to the team’s training camp in Kansas City, USA, ahead of the national team's first matches in the 2026 World Cup.

The British newspaper "Daily Mail" reported on Saturday that training equipment belonging to the "Three Lions" was also stolen along with footballs as the delegation was traveling from Florida to Kansas City, in a heist described as a "major robbery."

England set up a training camp before the World Cup in Florida, winning three matches against New Zealand, Costa Rica, and local team Miami United.

Before the team traveled to its official accommodation for the World Cup in Kansas City, the delegation had sent their luggage ahead from Florida. However, according to the "Daily Mail," the equipment was stolen during a heist on the truck, and team members are racing against time to provide new shoes for the players.

The report added that the stolen equipment included training tools of coach Thomas Tuchel and massage tables.

The report noted that only one football remained in the truck, and it is said that the England team’s staff is still trying to determine exactly what was stolen and how it happened, with police intervening.

The "Daily Mail" also revealed that there are suspicions that the truck drivers transporting the equipment may be involved.

England will begin its World Cup journey with a match against Croatia on Wednesday, and this incident will have a significant impact on their preparations.
