Arrest of a Woman in the Wadi Ara Area After Searching Her Home and Finding a Palestinian Flag
SadaNews - The Israeli occupation police arrested a woman from the Wadi Ara area after a post and photo were published on social media showing her holding a Palestinian flag.
The police announced this morning, Thursday, that they have launched an investigation following the circulation of the post on social media showing a resident of the city of "Hirsh" holding the Palestinian flag, which led to a search operation at her home.
According to a police statement, "Police officers acted immediately upon receiving the information, and they arrived at the woman's house and conducted a search. During the search, they found a Palestinian flag inside the house."
The police added that "the woman was arrested and taken to the police station for questioning, before being released later under restrictive conditions, including house arrest, while the investigation into the matter continues."
The Israeli police warned in its statement that "especially during this period and in light of the war, as part of what it referred to as the 'Lion's Roar' operation, it will deal firmly and without tolerance with manifestations of support for hostile elements or posts that may incite sedition and disturb public order."
