Qatari Committee Calls for Widespread Participation in the "Black Flags" Protest in "Tel Aviv"

SadaNews - The Qatari Committee of Arab Local Authorities has called for broad public and popular participation in the "Black Flags March Against Crime and Violence in Arab Society," scheduled for the upcoming Saturday evening, January 31, 2026, in Tel Aviv, considering it a pivotal moment to deliver a "resounding slap" against crimes and criminals, and against the official government policies that endorse or fuel these phenomena.

The committee stated that the protest is organized at the initiative of the Higher Arab Monitoring Committee in the country, with the participation of the Qatari Committee, set to begin at 17:30 from the Tel Aviv Museum square and conclude at "Habima" Square. This organization is based on decisions made by the representative and leadership bodies, which were taken following the significant uprising that manifested in the general strike and the large protest in Sakhnin on January 22, 2026.

Dozens of Arab and Jewish organizations, associations, along with popular committees across the country, have announced their support and active participation in the march, extending the popular movement that started from Sakhnin, and serving as a quantitative and qualitative accumulation in the face of the outbreak of crime and violence.

In the same context, it was announced that an exceptional and comprehensive emergency room would be established, operating within the framework of the Arab Emergency Authority stemming from the Monitoring Committee and the Qatari Committee, with the aim of organizing work and field, technical, and media coordination, transforming the protest in Tel Aviv into a significant event with impacts and consequences at various levels.

The Qatari Committee emphasized the necessity of ensuring the widest organized and effective participation, urging Arab local authorities' heads to activate their vital role, alongside political parties, movements, popular committees, associations, and civil bodies, including organizing the transportation of participants via special buses, in coordination with the emergency room.

The Qatari Committee and the Monitoring Committee confirmed that the Tel Aviv protest holds great importance, and they aim to transform it into a pivotal point in the collective and unifying struggle, both national and local, to deliver an additional decisive blow against crimes and criminals, as well as against phenomena of "protection money," and against anyone who stands behind them or formally and socially exploits them.
