Serious Injury to a Driver in a Traffic Accident in the South of the Country

SadaNews - A driver was injured in a traffic accident that occurred on Route 232, in the south of the country, today Thursday.

The media office of the "Rescue Union - Southern Command" reported that rescue teams provided first aid to the driver at the scene of the serious traffic accident that occurred on Route 232 near the "Magan" kibbutz.

Rescue medics who arrived at the scene explained that it involved an accident with a truck and a vehicle.

After rescuing the driver from the vehicle, the emergency teams administered initial treatments at the accident site.

It is noted that the driver (around 45 years old) was transferred by helicopter to receive treatment at "Soroka" Hospital in Be'er Sheva, where his condition is currently described as serious.

The occupation police claimed that they have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the accident.

In another incident, a young man, Alaa Abu Luban (24 years old) from the city of Lod, was killed yesterday evening, Wednesday, on Route 465, after being hit by a passing vehicle, apparently after stopping on the side of the road due to a mechanical failure in his car.

Medical teams reported that an alert was received in the evening hours at the emergency center regarding a man injured in a hit-and-run incident on Route 465, between the "Givat Koah" intersection and the Rantis crossing (west of Ramallah), after he stopped on the side of the road due to a technical malfunction in the vehicle.

The ambulance crews who arrived at the scene had to declare the death of the young man Abu Luban at the site.
