Children of Italy Paint the Palestinian Flag with Messages of Solidarity.. and an Event in Pisa Sheds Light on the Suffering of Palestinians

SadaNews - The city of Pisa hosted a political-solidarity event organized by Fatah Movement - Italy represented by Secretary Dr. Imad Ali. This event was part of the observance of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People and aimed to highlight the daily suffering they endure under occupation.

In a touching humanitarian gesture, a group of Italian children prepared a flag for Palestine and inscribed it with symbolic messages expressing their support for the rights of Palestinians and the right of their children to live in safety. The flag was presented to the Secretary to be displayed later in a Palestinian museum as a transnational popular message of solidarity.

The event included a political seminar where Dr. Silvia Torelli - a representative of Doctors Without Borders - provided a field testimony about the harsh humanitarian reality faced by Palestinian civilians, especially children, coupled with fear and psychological disturbances due to ongoing bombings and assaults. Torelli shared aspects of her experience in the city of Nablus, explaining how daily pressure translates into long-term suffering in the lives of children and families.

For his part, Dr. Ali emphasized the importance of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People as a renewed opportunity to remind the world of the justice of the Palestinian cause and the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people. He affirmed that the resilience of Palestinians on their land is a continuous message that the struggle will not stop until freedom and independence are achieved.

Dr. Ali also addressed the escalating global movement supporting Palestine in recent years, considering that this popular and political momentum represents a clear response to attempts to impose political projects such as the so-called 'Trump Plan,' which aims to legitimize the status quo and entrench guardianship over the Palestinian people instead of ensuring their rights.
