Closure of Route 1 Following Fire in Truck in Lod
SadaNews - This morning, Tuesday, the occupying police closed Route 1 in its section near Ben Gurion Airport in the city of Lod, after a fire broke out in a truck.
The incident led to severe traffic congestion in the area, while the specialized teams are working to address the fire site and regulate traffic flow.
The official spokesperson for Arab media in the Fire and Rescue Authority reported that firefighting teams have been working for hours to extinguish the fire that broke out in a truck near the Ben Gurion junction on Route 1. The fire has caused thick smoke to emanate, prompting the relevant authorities to close the road in both directions, with no reports of injuries.
