17-Year-Old Boy Killed in Stabbing Incident by Friend in Kafr Qara

SadaNews - A 17-year-old boy was killed due to a stabbing incident inside a school in the city of Kafr Qara in the northern Triangle region today, Monday.

The victim of the crime inside the school in Kafr Qara was identified as student Muhammad Hussein Murazqa from the village of Ar'ara.

The occupying police stated that they have arrested a minor suspected of stabbing his friend.

They indicated that "the suspect has been taken for interrogation at the police station, and at the end of the investigation, based on the needs and results of the inquiry, a decision will be made regarding the continuation of the request to extend his detention."

Earlier this morning, young man Qasim Mahmoud Asila (18 years old) was killed as a result of a shooting incident that took place in the town of Arabah in the Galilee, while he was with his father on their way to work.

213 Fatalities in the Arab Community Since the Beginning of the Year

This comes amid a dangerous and unprecedented escalation in violence and murder rates in the Arab community, which has resulted in 213 fatalities since the beginning of the year, amid complicity and negligence by the police in performing their role in combating crime and providing safety and security for Arab citizens.

Data indicates that 176 people have been killed by gunfire, of which 101 victims were under the age of thirty, including four children who had not yet reached eighteen. Additionally, 11 murders have been recorded by the police.

These shocking figures reflect the extent of the escalation of violence and crime in the Arab community, amid the collusion of the occupying police and their negligence in fulfilling their role in fighting crime and holding offenders accountable.
