Young man killed in shooting crime in Kfar Kana in the occupied territory

SadaNews - Young man Ali Wael Awawdeh (22 years old) from Kfar Kana was killed early Tuesday morning after being shot while riding a quad bike in the town.

Emergency crews received a report about a young man with critical injuries, rushed to the scene, provided first aid, and then quickly transported him to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead due to his severe injuries.

The occupation police claimed that they had begun searching operations for suspects, claiming that they had opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident, which is likely to have a criminal background, without announcing any arrests so far.

The killing of Awawdeh is the second crime within hours in the Arab community; on Monday evening, young man Mohammed Rafaiya (26 years old) from the town of Salem in the Wadi Ara area was killed due to gunfire near the Megiddo junction.

Thus, the death toll from murder crimes in the Arab community since the beginning of this year has risen to 201 victims.

In other incidents, a 33-year-old man from the city of Taybeh was seriously injured in a shooting in Kfar Saba, while another young man (30 years old) from Bir al-Maksur was moderately injured in a similar incident in the town.

201 homicide victims in the Arab community since the start of the year

Thus, the death toll from murder crimes since the beginning of the year has reached 201 victims, including 20 women, at a time when the Arab community is witnessing a dangerous escalation and an outbreak of murder and violence.

Data indicates that 169 people were shot dead, with 99 of the victims under the age of thirty, including three children who had not yet reached eighteen. The police recorded 10 murder crimes.

These shocking numbers reflect the extent of the escalating violence and crime in the Arab community, amid Israeli police complicity and their failure to perform their role in combating crime and holding criminals accountable.

This crime comes as part of a series of ongoing murders in the Arab community, raising the level of fear and concern in light of the rising violence, continued chaos of weapons, and the absence of deterrence.
