The End of "Kan Insan" Series Sparks Interaction Despite Broadcast Suspension Crisis

SadaNews - The final episode of the series "Kan Insan" sparked a wave of controversy and interaction, dominating public conversations on social media platforms despite the crisis the series faces with the referral of its crew to the public prosecution for incorporating some modifications to the original script without obtaining official approvals.

The platform Shahid aired the last two episodes of the series, where reactions varied between sympathy and praise for the performance, or questions regarding the story's realism. Some criticized the presentation of the story in only eight episodes.

Many followers praised the series, with one writing: "Kan Insan is a fantastic series! I don’t remember the last time I cried while watching a Gulf series, but this one made me cry a lot. Honestly, Ali Kakouli is a genius, but I didn’t like the ending."

Some considered that the series touches on realistic parts of life, as one follower wrote: "In episode six, Yusuf was talking because of the accuracy of the dialogue and the mastery of the scene; I had a moment of realization: could it be that this story tells a large part of his real life? Yusuf follows his path to achieve his goal, leaving the audience with feelings of confusion and questions due to the open ending, which contained a mix of harshness and hope at the same time.

It is noteworthy that "Kan Insan" was set within an exciting dramatic framework around the young man Yusuf, played by Kuwaiti artist Ali Kakouli, whose life changes dramatically due to a pivotal moment that completely alters it, finding himself overnight in harsh conditions that turn his existence upside down.

Yusuf transforms from a peaceful young man to a seeker of revenge, making everyone feel that the person he once was is no longer present.

It is worth mentioning that "Kan Insan" sparked controversy during its airing on Shahid, as the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information decided to temporarily suspend its broadcast due to the inclusion of scenes and details that had not been authorized by some regulatory bodies before airing.

The regulatory authorities clarified that these modifications were made after obtaining initial approval on the script, leading to the referral of the crew and the production company to the public prosecution to investigate whether legal violations concerning the unauthorized scenes occurred. Measures were also taken, such as the temporary closure of the production company's office, describing these modifications as inconsistent with the values of Kuwaiti society.
