Mbappe Surpasses Messi and Becomes the All-Time Top Scorer in the World Cup
SadaNews - Frenchman Kylian Mbappe has become the all-time top scorer in the World Cup by scoring two goals against England during the third and fourth place match in the 2026 tournament.
England took a 4-0 lead in the first half through Saka, Rice, and Konsa before Mbappe scored twice and another for Barkola until the middle of the second half of the match.
Mbappe now has 22 goals in World Cup tournaments, one more than Argentine Lionel Messi, who will play in the World Cup final on Sunday against Spain.
